Evans Opoku Bobie appointed Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports designate

Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie has been appointed Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports designate.

If he goes through successful vetting, the 46 year old will join substantive minister Hon. Mustapha Ussif at the ministry responsible for the development and promotion youth and sporting activities in the country.

A former banker, Hon. Opoku Bobie was previously the Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister and later the Ahafo Regional Minister when the region was split into three.

He is expected to replace Perry Okudjeto, who was Deputy Minister to Isaac Asiamah in the last administration.

The date for his vetting has yet to be announced.
